Acción Contra El Hambre es una organización humanitaria internacional que lucha contra las causas y consecuencias del hambre en 50 países. Trabajamos con las comunidades antes, durante y después de la emergencia. Las apoyamos para que sean autosuficientes, prósperas y puedan ver a los niños y las niñas crecer con salud y dignidad.
En España, por primera vez, estamos interviniendo en una emergencia. La crisis provocada por la pandemia de la COVID-19 ha dejado a muchas familias en riesgo de pobreza. Desde Acción contra el Hambre trabajamos para prevenir y mitigar sus efectos, ayudando a que miles de familias puedan seguir alimentándose cada día.
El sector de la hostería siempre ha demostrado una fuerte vocación solidaria, una resiliencia ejemplar y capacidad de movilización para ayudar a las personas en situación de vulnerabilidad. Luchar contra el hambre está en su ADN y desde hace 12 años lo ha venido demostrando a través de Restaurantes contra el Hambre.
Desde sus inicios, Restaurantes contra el Hambre ha contado con el apoyo de grandes figuras de la cocina en nuestro país, tales como Susi Díaz, Quique Dacosta, Carme Ruscalleda, Mario Sandoval, Albert Adriá o Joan Roca, entre otros. Todos ellos han decidido apadrinar nuestra causa y convertir su restaurante en un Restaurante Bueno, un lugar donde no solo se come bien, sino que también se lucha contra el hambre.
Juntos, con pasión y solidaridad conseguiremos nuestro objetivo: acabar con el hambre y la desnutrición infantil.
