European Commission Framework-Contracts

Action Against Hunger is part of the EC SIEA 2018 Framework Contracts. We periodically receive invitations to submit technical proposals for short-term missions in the following areas: sustainable Management of Natural Resources and Resilience (lot 1), Human Rights, Democracy and Peace (lot 3) and Human Development and Safety Net (lot 4).

Therefore, we look for qualified, interested and available professionals to work with us in short-term assignments. In general terms, the profile of the experts we are looking for is:

 

With methodology design experience

 

Or rogramme designers to identify and formulate LT programmes (experience drafting Action Documents)

 

 

With methodology design, data collection and analysis experience for studies and baselines


 

Specific professional experience for technical assistance advisory positions

 

 

With experience in:

Sustainable Management of Natural Resources and Resilience

  • Agriculture
  • Fishery and aquaculture (livelihoods)
  • Food Security and nutrition
  • Rural Development
  • Climate Change
  • Sustainable Natural Resource Management
  • DRR

Human Rights, Democracy and Peace

  • Gender
  • Conflict Prevention
  • Capacity building of CSO, Participatory organisation analysis and needs analysis
  • Community based development: empowerment and participatory approaches
  • Youth
  • Migration, especially Nexus between migration, climate change and environmental degradation, migration-development nexus and irregular migration / trafficking in human beings, IDP
  • Emergency / post emergency support needs assessment, including psycho-social, physical and economic damage assessment and LRRD
  • Post-conflict transition plans (including employment generation), logistical support to operations, conflict risk and conflict analysis assessments.

Human Development and Safety Net 

  • Social protection and inclusion, including cash transfers
  • Public health, including epidemiology, water and sanitation
  • Health promotion, including nutrition and policy / institutional framework for health promotion
  • Health metrics
  • Employment, especially youth and women
  • Research and innovation
  • As well as experience with international donors, especially the EU
