The fight against hunger is an international one, which requires a global approach and the coordinated efforts of many men and women all over the world.

When a group of men and women decided to join forces in 1979 in the Action Against Hunger International Network, they could never have imagined how big the organisation would get. Today, we are a team of more than 6000 people working in more than 45 countries.

Distributing project management according to country means we can reduce costs and ensure greater effectiveness in our actions. International coordination in context analysis, research into the most efficient intervention systems and the search for the most suitable human resources all give us a greater ability to make an impact. The international dimension also means we can reach public opinion more easily. We spread our voice all over the world in order to communicate a common message – that hunger has a solution.

ACF INTERNATIONAL

The international network is coordinated by the International Executive Committee, while the International Chairpersons’ Committee works to ensure compliance with these principles and the application of international strategies, with headquarters in seven countries.
