Cholera re-emerges in Lebanon after three decades
Lebanon declared on the 6th of October a cholera outbreak that is spreading rapidly through the country, a few weeks after the disease was spotted in neighboring Syria. There are now 2,255 suspected and confirmed cholera cases in Lebanon. Eighteen people have died.

The multiple crises continue hiking food prices, and more families are forced to skip meals since they are unable to afford products that are essential for a healthy diet, causing them, and especially children, to endure malnutrition.

Zugdidi LAG receives first independent funding award
In August 2022, Zugdidi LAG applied to Zugdidi City Hall to receive funding for a project to provide informational services and training for young people living in Zugdidi Municipality. After several meetings with an assessment committee the concept note and the proposal was approved, and on the 21st September 2022 Zugdidi LAG signed a contract with the City Hall.
