Closing Events for the Employment and Entrepreneurship Shuttle in RA Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Territorial Centers of the Unified Social Service (USS) in Charentsavan and Shengavit

The closing ceremonies for the SHUTTLE program participants were hosted by the Charentsavan Territorial Center of USS on Monday, March 21 and the Shengavit Territorial Center of USS on Friday, March 24.

At the events Ms. Lusine Hovhannisyan, Head of Charentsavan Territorial Center of USS and Artavazd Torosyan, Head of Shengavit Territorial Center of USS presented certificates to the program participants.

The "SHUTTLE" program has been running for four months in both locations with 41 participants involved. To date 5 participants have already gained full-time employment and 12 are self-employed. Group sessions, individual consultations and trainings on various topics were provided to the participants.

The "SHUTTLE" employment and entrepreneurship program is implemented by the USS with technical support from AAH within the framework of the project “Economic and Social Participation of Vulnerable Displaced and Local Population in the South Caucasus (EPIC)”. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
