5-day workshop in Georgia on Action Against Hunger’s new digitalized project management system

Between the 14th and 18th November 2022, Action Against Hunger (AAH) South Caucasus hosted a 5-day workshop in Tbilisi, Georgia on Projects ADS – Action Against Hunger’s new digitalized project management system. In addition to the South Caucasus team, staff from the Lebanon mission also participated in the event that was supported by members of the Digitalization Transformation team from the Headquarters in Madrid and from the Philippines.

Celebrating the achievements of ENPARD III

On the 15th November the conference ‘LEADER: A European Approach to Better Rural Lives’ was organised by rural development partners of the EU-funded ENPARD III programme. The ENPARD programme is entering its 10th year and aims to introduce European rural development models in Georgia and ensure a sustainable future for Georgian farmers and rural communities.

Zugdidi LAG receives first independent funding award

In August 2022, Zugdidi LAG applied to Zugdidi City Hall to receive funding for a project to provide informational services and training for young people living in Zugdidi Municipality. After several meetings with an assessment committee the concept note and the proposal was approved, and on the 21st September 2022 Zugdidi LAG signed a contract with the City Hall.

Action Against Hunger (AAH) South Caucasus hosted a workshop in Yerevan, Armenia on its innovative and inclusive ‘Shuttle’ approach to the representatives of United Social Services (USS) and VET colleges in Armenia.

Second ‘Shuttle’ methodology workshop for public actors in West Georgia

From the 27th June until the 1st July 2022, Action Against Hunger (AAH) South Caucasus hosted a 5-day workshop in Zugdidi, Georgia on its innovative and inclusive ‘Shuttle’ approach. This was the second of two trainings for representatives of state educational and employment agencies and VET colleges in Georgia, after the sessions in Tbilisi earlier in June.
